The Shrine receives many requests and calls from people
who would like to offer the burning of a candle before Our
Lady’s statue. In order to accommodate these requests, we
have begun a special “Candle Offering” program where the
faithful may offer to burn a candle before Our Lady’s statue
for a specified period of time. Presently, the program has
four time periods to choose from.

| Prayer We Use When Lighting A Votive Candle at the Shrine accept this burning candle as a sign of my faith and love for you. Like this candle, I am ready to be used in your service, without asking why and to what purpose. Even as this candle, I wish to stand in your presence to be consumed in the light and warmth of your love. Please hear my prayer and if it is your will, grant my petition. But above all make me loyal and faithful to you in all circumstances of my life. Amen. |
